今天是五月二十二号日。我去办公室了。晓爽也去办公室。她是很忙。我不是太忙，但是我很累。我笔文章。我有红色的笔，也黑色的。我的手机是大的。，晓爽的手机是小的。她不喜欢我的手机。

今天，天是蓝色的这里的天是蓝的，草也这里草是绿色的。但是那里是太阳。我那里是红的大的太阳不知道。我的大妹妹在南非。这里有大荒的太阳。，那里的太阳是橘黄色。

我们吃面后天。我们很喜欢面条。

I sat down and tried to put together a few sentences using some of the words I am supposed to have learned so far. I then tried to put the sentences in some sort of order to tell a short story. There are no doubt numerous mistakes, but it is only through making mistakes that I am going to learn. The sheer effort of putting together these short paragraphs has really highlighted some gaps in my learning so far.

In anticipation of the fact that my Chinese makes no sense whatsoever, I have put my version of the translation below.

Today is the 22nd May. I went to the office. Xiaoshuang also went to the office. She is really busy. I am not busy but I am tired. I am writing an article. I have a red pen and a black one. I have a big mobile phone. Xiaoshuang has a small mobile phone. She does not like my big phone.

Today the sky is blue and the grass is green. But there is no sun. I don’t know where the big red sun is. My sister is in South Africa. There is a big yellow sun there.

On Friday we will eat noodles. We really like noodles.
