Mandarin Learner: Best of the Web

Before I leave for Heathrow, there is just time to share with you a collection of links that those of you studying Chinese may find interesting. There will be no “Best of the Web” for the next couple of weeks as I’ll be somewhere outside the fifth ring road in Beijing If you’ve come across something you think should feature in this weekly list, get in touch and I’ll include it when I get back.

  1. Raising a bi-lingual child (part 1, part 2)
  2. Chinese class review
  3. Will English shift to being a tone language?
  4. The plight of the Chinese child
  5. Trees in Mandarin Chinese
  6. Thought of the day: Opposites
  7. Lessons from Chinese lessons
