Awesome list. Some aren’t entirely there though. Google Translate seems to have slipped some errors.
偷笑 – Isn’t this rather, sneakily laughing. Giggling behind your hand almost.
鄙视 – To Despise
花心 – Lovestruck?
友哼哼,左哼哼 – Would be weird to translate. To groan to the right/left. Almost like going “Humph”.
打哈气 – Not sure what this is, but definitely not Beat Kazakh gas? Maybe to cover up a yawn?
顶 – To bump a post. Or get someone’s attention. Almost like “ping” in English.
来 – Maybe just a typo, but should be come here (if you look at the emoticon too).
Cool post nonetheless. Thanks for this Bill!
Many thanks for spotting the mistakes. That will teach me to write scripts to write posts and then not check the results. I’ve updated the post based on your suggestions which all seem sound. I’ve asked a couple of native speakers and 打哈气 means to yawn. I’m not too sure how Google ended up with Beat Kazakh Gas.
