Dublin Photos

I’ve just uploaded the photos from our weekend in Dublin. (Facebook readers, you may have to visit my site to see the photos). We had a good time although it involved rather too much walking. Much of that wasn’t helpd by the fact that we set off to find the hotel with me holding the map upside down. We had walked across Dublin before I turned to Alicia and said, “I think it’s back that way.” I wasn’t allowed to forget this minor mistake for the rest of the weekend.

On the final day, it started raining and we eventually decided to opt for a taxi. We were standing at the bus stop and I stuck my hand out. A taxi stopped as did the car behind it. The driver was just about to ask where we wanted to go when, SMASH! Someone two cars back hadn’t bothered to stop. The resulting domino effect as the cars crashed into each other would have been comical if I hadn’t felt slightly guilty about sticking my hand out in the first place.

Anyway, back in the UK now and busy as ever. More soon.
