Easter Weekend
I’ve just uploaded all our photos from the Easter weekend. Alicia and I made it to London Zoo, Waterperry Gardens, lunch in Long Wittenham and the Wetlands Centre in Barnes. Lots of sun, lots of fresh air and all round a good weekend.
EuroNews
EuroNews has a feature that I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s called “No Comment“. It is basically a series of short video clips, with sound, from around the world. The only thing missing is the commentary we are so used to. I don’t know if I’d sit down to watch it, but it makes a welcome change from the repetitive commentary that seems to accompany most 24hr news channels.
Panoply
I came across a new word the other day, “panoply”. I quite liked it and felt it was a word that I might just be able to use in the future:
a complete and impressive array
Photos from China
As promised I have finally manage to caption and upload the photos from our recent trip to China, well, only a quarter of them. By themselves they don’t tell the whole story and many require further explanation. If you get the chance, I recommend you corner Alicia or myself and ask us to take you through the traditional photo album.
I will be uploading photos of our sightseeing in London in due course.
Productivity Increase
February is going to be a month of increased productivity. I feel like achieving something. So far I have managed to put together a credit card payment system for my sister’s exhibition, order a new driving licence, backup my work computer and help Alicia get the money owed her by her previous employers.
So, raise your glasses, I propose a toast to being positive and productive.
