Following on from my recent list of recommended Mac software, I thought I should put something together for iPhone applications. I’m constantly trying new applications for the iPhone but unfortunately many of them appear rushed or unfinished. These tend to get removed from my iPhone within days and won’t make it onto my list of recommendations.

Wordpress on the iPhone

The ever popular blogging engine Wordpress has an accompanying iPhone application. Now at version 1.1 the application remains free and open source. It is well written, runs smoothly and has some nice touches that inspire confidence during use. It is a shame then that the focus of this application is on a task not suited to the mobile environment.
